Membership
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Jesus not only saved us from our sins, but He also saved us for a relationship with Him. God wants to have a personal relationship with YOU! Salvation is a prerequisite for church membership. Believers may join the fellowship of Plainfield Baptist Church in one of these ways:
- Profession of Faith – testimony of personal salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ followed by baptism.
- Letter – transfer of membership letter from a Southern Baptist Church
- Statement – statement of previous conversion to faith in Christ, and Biblical baptism
